Our robotics team, “The Iron Mariners” will join the teams from East and South to present their robots and conduct demonstrations.Īt this special evening of learning and fun, parent-child teams will complete fun puzzles and challenges and learn core concepts in coding. It will be held in the Toms River High School EAST media center.

Please join us for Family Code Night on Monday, December 11th at 7pm sponsored by Toms River Education Association! This evening will be a wonderful opportunity for families to do an hour of computer programming together. I felt right at home today ( with a few retirees by my side), and can honestly say TRN will always hold a special place in my heart -xoxo" Wendy Arnold Of course, I want to thank my "regulars" who always come through no matter what the cause. I also want to say thank you to the new staff for joining in without knowing how this fundraiser works. A special thank you to Student Council for paying for the initial supplies ( bowls, plates, dinnerware, etc.) which certainly added I appreciate all that you did to make this endeavor so successful. A simple e-mail asking for volunteers for this fundraiser turned into an overwhelming response with offers to cook, purchase, clean, set-up and help with anything. We raised a record $1350 ! The support for fellow faculty members is truly a testament to the fact that TRN has the best staff in all Toms River Schools.
